Halo Infinite Multiplayer to get Slayer, Fiesta, Free-For-All

343 Industries has confirmed that Halo Infinity’s multiplayer will not only get Slayer, Fiesta, free-for-all, and Tactical Slayer (SWAT) playlists on December 14th, but changes to make the challenges less frustrating.

Hello Community Director Brian Gerard shared the news on Reddit, confirming that the much-anticipated Slayer playlist will soon be available to all Spartans.

Gerard noted that “the team’s original plans for the Slayer playlist included a number of new variations that weren’t going to be ready in time to roll out before the holidays.” In the meantime, players will still be able to “take advantage of what the original Slayer offers to start with and [the team] will try to strengthen and expand with more variations in future updates.”

 

Along with these new playlists, 343 is “removing some particularly frustrating mode-features, reducing some requirements for others, making Weekly Ultimate Challenge less intense (getting there is hard enough) and adding new challenges to the challenge.” Is adjusting to. There will also be one that is “based on player score accumulation” and an “initial small step” towards “performance based XP”. 343 will share more details about these changes on Hello Waypoint next week.

To conclude the post, Gerard wanted to let Halo Infinity players know that the team is “aware and actively investigating reports of intermittent hiccups affecting certain BTB players over the past few days.” He continues to review ranking matchmaking and “player feedback on potential discrepancies”.

 

The lack of dedicated playlists was one of the few complaints and many others had with Halo Infinity’s “great modern take on the game’s most respected first-person shooter game”. ,
