Financial assistance is available to scheduled caste members who want to start their own cottage industries and are not able or willing to borrow money. The income limit is 47,000 in rural areas, and 60,000 in urban areas. The government will approve financial assistance in the amount of 4,000 rupees for the equipment. This program is implemented through Gandhinagar Scheduled Caste Development Corporation.
Financial assistance is available to Scheduled Caste members in the form of loans. In terms of default, liability and recovery by the Scheduled Castes Development Corporation shall be limited to a sum equivalent to the amount of financial assistance approved by the SCDC.
Social impact funds are available to scheduled caste communities who wish to set up their own cottage industries and are not able or willing to secure financing for the equipment required. Terms and Conditions
- The applicant must be between 15 and 20 years old.
- Scheduled Castes members have an annual limit of Rs 1,50,000 in rural areas, and Rs 4 for urban areas. You can have 150,000
- The Scheduled Castes have no income limits for the most backward members of the Scheduled Castes.
- The benefit cannot be reclaimed if the beneficiary or any of his family members have used the benefit under this scheme earlier.
